Re:AOPG Getting Started Guide for Beginners

Welcome to Re:AOPG. The Roblox game (officially Re: A One Piece Game, also called AOPG MULTIVERSE) drops you onto Foosha Village with nothing but a wooden sword and a starter Devil Fruit that was randomly assigned to your account. Your goal in the first hour is simple: claim every active code, pick a strong race, finish the first island’s quest chain, and reach level 50. This guide walks you through every step.

Step 1 — Claim Every Code Before You Start

Before you click a single NPC, redeem every code from the codes hub. The rewards are tuned for early-game players, and the XP boost from RELEASE plus the 5,000 gems from DEVILFRUIT will save you several hours of grinding. The full redemption guide covers what to do if a code does not work.

Step 2 — Choose Your Race

The race you pick during character creation locks in your starting stats and unlocks race-specific fighting-style bonuses. The five races are:

  • Human — Largest stat pool, no race bonus. Best for PvP-focused builds.
  • Fishman — +25% damage with Fishman Karate and Fishman Jujutsu. Best for grinding builds.
  • Mink — +15% speed and +15% damage with Soru and Rokushiki Ate. Best for speed builds.
  • Skypiean — +20% agility and +20% damage with Sword Saint. Best for Patch 5.4 meta builds.
  • Cyborg — +12% flat damage to every fighting style. The safest “good at everything” pick.

If you have a Devil Fruit voucher from the DEVILFRUIT code, spend it on a Mythic-tier fruit from the devil fruit tier list before deciding your race. The fruit’s role in your build matters more than the race bonus.

Step 3 — Pick a Fighting Style

Your starting fighting style depends on the trainer NPCs you visit in Foosha Village. The two most beginner-friendly styles are Dragon Claw (orange-town trainer) and Water Kung-Fu (Fishman Island trainer, unlocked at level 20). Both have forgiving timing and a strong early-to-mid-game ceiling. The fighting styles tier list explains when to swap them out for stronger styles.

Step 4 — Finish the Foosha Village Quest Chain

The Foosha Village quest chain is the game’s tutorial disguised as a quest. It will guide you through:

  1. Talking to the mayor.
  2. Defeating three waves of low-level NPCs.
  3. Returning to the mayor for your first accessory (a free Captain’s Hat).
  4. Unlocking fast travel to Orange Town.

Finishing the chain takes about 15 minutes and rewards enough XP to hit level 10. The accessory is also a meaningful gear upgrade — keep it equipped until you find a Mythic-tier replacement.

Step 5 — Reach Level 50

The fastest level 50 route is Orange Town quest chain → Skypiea side quests → first World Boss kill. The full route is in the how to level up fast guide. Aim for level 50 in your first hour so you unlock the level-50 fighting-style trainer in Orange Town.

Common Beginner Mistakes

  • Skipping codes. Every code you skip is 5–10 minutes of unnecessary grinding.
  • Picking Human by default. Human is great, but Fishman and Skypiean are stronger for the current meta.
  • Saving your Mythic voucher. Use the DEVILFRUIT code voucher early. S-tier fruits make every fight easier.
  • Ignoring accessories. A Common-tier accessory is a 5% damage loss compared to a Rare-tier replacement. Upgrade as you go.

What to Do After Level 50

Once you hit level 50, the how to get a devil fruit guide will walk you through chasing a Mythic-tier fruit. From there, jump into the best builds hub to assemble a complete loadout.
