Race V4 is the highest race tier in Re:AOPG. It upgrades your base race to its most powerful form — Mink V4 unlocks Electro Claw V4, Cyborg V4 becomes Ultimate Cyborg, Lunarian V4 unlocks Fire Form. This page is the full Race V4 unlock chain — costs, prerequisites, and which V4 race to pick first.

Race Tiers

Each race in Re:AOPG has 4 tiers:

• V1 — base race.
• V2 — V1 + 25 race essence + 5,000 Gems.
• V3 — V2 + 100 race essence + 25,000 Gems.
• V4 — V3 + 250 race essence + 100,000 Gems + 1 Poneglyph + raid-specific materials.

Most veterans stop at V2 or V3 for their main race. V4 is the end-game goal.

The meta Race V4 picks:

1. Mink V4 (Mink Emperor) — best for PvP burst builds (Light + Soru).
2. Cyborg V4 (Ultimate Cyborg) — best for raid DPS (Dragon + Godhuman).
3. Lunarian V4 (Fire Lunarian) — best for fire-focused builds.
4. Saiyan V4 (Awakened Saiyan) — best melee scaling.

Which Race V4 First?

Most veterans pick Cyborg V4 or Mink V4 first because:

• Cyborg V4 — universal damage boost works with any build.
• Mink V4 — speed boost works in both PvE and PvP.
• Saiyan V4 — best scaling but expensive (75 Gomah raids).

How to Farm Race Essence

Race essence drops from:

• Race-specific dungeons — 5-10% drop rate per clear.
• Race-specific raid bosses — 15-25% drop rate.
• Crew bounty payouts — 1-3 essence per payout.
• Codes — E.G.O., Soul Awk (limited).

Race V4 Unlock Walkthrough

The unlock chain is the same for every race (except Saiyan):

1. Reach Race V3 (100 essence + 25K Gems).
2. Talk to the Race NPC at Logue Town.
3. Pay 250 essence + 100K Gems + 1 Poneglyph.
4. Clear the race-specific raid/dungeon prerequisite.
5. Talk to the Race NPC again to confirm V4.

The unlock is instant once all requirements are met. The Race NPC’s V4 confirmation dialog confirms the new perk and visual effect.

Common Mistakes

• Picking the wrong V4 race — re-V4 costs 250 essence + 100K Gems + 1 Poneglyph again.
• Skipping the prerequisite raid — most V4 unlocks require 5+ raid clears of the matching race’s signature raid.
• Spending race essence on V2/V3 — save essence for V4 if you have the Gems.

Race V4 vs Mythical Awakening Priority

You can either grind Race V4 OR Mythical Awakening first. Most veterans alternate:

• 2 weeks of Race V4 grinding → 250 essence.
• 2 weeks of Mythical Awakening grinding → 100 stones.
• Repeat.
