Second Sea Unlock: 5,000 Stats & Law Raid Walkthrough

The Second Sea is the mid-game push that opens up Awakened Devil Fruits, Advanced Haki trainers and the strongest money islands in the game. This page covers the unlock requirements, the recommended island order, and the best Sea 2 grind.

Second Sea Unlock Requirements

To unlock the Second Sea you need:

  • 5,000 total stats distributed across Melee, Defense, Sword, Gun and Devil Fruit.
  • One Law Raid clear — Law Raid is on Logue Town, teleports to Loguetown arena. Bring a crew or use the teleport scripts hub to queue faster.

Once unlocked, return to the Starter Island portal and speak to the Boat NPC.

Second Sea Island Order

The recommended order after unlocking Sea 2 is:

  1. Dressrosa — first Poneglyph in Sea 2 and the Colosseum arena.
  2. Onigashima — Kaido-themed island, Kaido boss unlock (King’s Haki gate). NPC Andre is also here for Race V4 / King’s Haki (V4) training.
  3. Pirate Paradise — Blackbeard island, Blackbeard boss unlock (King’s Haki gate).
  4. Enies Lobby — best Sea 2 starter grind for fresh players. Mochi v2 / Dragon / Magma awk / Quake v2 are the top picks.
  5. Zou Island — Advanced Armament trainer (1,700 Haki) and Advanced Observation trainer (1,500 Haki).
  6. Photon Zone — late-Sea 2 zone with Marine Admiral drops.
  7. Udon Prison — best Sea 2 money and Gem island (187B Beli/h and 2,208 Gems/h with the Magma + Water Kung-Fu + Fishman build).

Devil Fruit Awakenings in Sea 2

Sea 2 introduces Awakened forms for several Devil Fruits:

  • Magma v2 — 11,900 dmg, top Sea 2 AoE.
  • Mochi v2 — strong defence + ranged mix.
  • Quake v2 — best raw damage for Sea 2 raids.
  • Light v2 — speed-focused, top PvP pick.
  • Ope v2 — boss-killer, R-move wipes raid bosses.
  • Dark v2 — PvP support pick.
  • Soul Awk (Misery) — top-tier end-Sea 2 / early-Sea 3 fruit.

Awakening scrolls drop from Aokiji Raid (Sea 2 Teleport Island) and Leopard Dungeon. Full Awakening details live on the devil fruit tier list.

Advanced Haki Trainers

Zou Island hosts:

  • Advanced Armament — 1,700 Haki requirement.
  • Advanced Observation — 1,500 Haki requirement.

Ruined Kingdom hosts the Advanced Observation trainer (1,500 Haki) and the Future Sight prerequisite chain.

Best Sea 2 Grind Setup

For most players, the meta Sea 2 build is:

  • Magma v2 (or Magma if you have not awakened yet).
  • Water Kung-Fu fighting style.
  • Fishman race (Fishman Karate / Jujutsu buff).
  • Udon Prison farm spot (best Beli + Gem output).

Expected rates: 187B Beli/h, 2,208 Gems/h, ~722 stats/h.

Sea 2 Bosses

  • Aokiji Raid — Teleport Island in Sea 2. 54% chance to drop Gear-related items. Required 5 times for Sea 3 unlock.
  • Leopard Dungeon — 1% chance of Gear 4 Bounceman. Required 5 times for Sea 3 unlock.
  • Snakeman Luffy — Wilderness Sea 1 portal, 4% chance of Gear 4 Snakeman.
  • Wukong, Dragon, Smith — unlocked progressively. The raid guide has full rotations.

Law Raid Walkthrough

The Law Raid is the gate between Sea 1 and Sea 2. It is a soloable or 2-man raid that drops the Law Raid token (100% per clear) and unlocks the Sea 2 portal.

Stat Requirements

You need 5,000 total stats distributed across Melee, Defense, Sword, Gun and Devil Fruit to enter the Law Raid queue. The recommended distribution for a first-time raider:

  • Melee — 1,200
  • Defense — 1,000
  • Sword — 800
  • Gun — 800
  • Devil Fruit — 1,200

This split covers every raid mechanic without specialising too hard. A pure Melee / Devil Fruit build (1,500 / 800 / 800 / 700 / 1,200) clears faster but dies more often.

Solo is fine for the Law Raid, but a 2-man crew cuts the clear time in half:

  • Player 1 — Tank / Bait — Mochi v2 + Water Kung-Fu + Fishman (high HP, aggro control).
  • Player 2 — DPS — Magma + Water Kung-Fu + Fishman (AoE clear).

For 3-4 man crews, add a support:

  • Player 3 — Support — Soul Awk (Misery) + Vector Control + Skypiean (debuff + crew damage buff).

Walkthrough

  1. Teleport to Logue Town arena.
  2. Speak to the Law NPC to start the raid queue.
  3. Phase 1 — clear 8 waves of Marine NPCs (Magma AoE handles this in ~90 seconds solo).
  4. Phase 2 — defeat Law mid-boss. He teleports every 30 seconds and applies a DoT debuff. Use the Water Kung-Fu ranged burst to keep distance.
  5. Phase 3 — defeat the Smoker mini-boss. Kicks in at 50% HP on Law. Use the Mochi v2 tank to absorb the AoE.
  6. Phase 4 — final Law phase. Stack all DoT and burst damage here.
  7. Claim the Law Raid token from the chest and return to Starter Island.

Total clear time: 4-6 minutes solo, 2-3 minutes with a 2-man crew.

Rewards

  • Law Raid token — 100% per clear. Required once for Sea 2 unlock.
  • Beli drop — 25K-50K per clear (depends on World Boss rotation).
  • Gem drop — 0.5% per clear (rare).

After your first clear, you can re-run the Law Raid daily for the Beli payout. Most players finish the Sea 2 unlock requirement within 1-2 days of focused grinding.
