Boss Rush Mode: Stages, Rewards and Best Builds for Re:AOPG

Boss Rush is the sequential raid challenge mode in Re:AOPG. It strings together 10 boss encounters into a single timed run, with each stage harder than the last and a curated reward pool for every clear. This page covers every stage of the mode, the rewards per stage, the recommended builds, and the unlock path. The Boss Rush ladder pairs with the Raid ladder for the standard raid grind and the PvP tier list for the world-PvP meta.

Boss Rush is framed here as the sequential raid challenge mode: a 10-stage gauntlet that opens with a Sea 1 Marine Admiral and closes with a Multiverse Sea Mythic boss. The reward curve scales with stage difficulty — early stages drop Gems and Beli, mid stages drop race essences and Mythic-tier fruits, and the final stage drops the rare Boss Rush exclusive title and the unique Boss Rush cosmetic set.

Boss Rush vs Standard Raids

Standard raids are one-shot boss encounters with deterministic drops. Boss Rush is a sequential gauntlet where each stage’s difficulty scales and the run ends if you die. The reward curve is steeper per stage but the run cost is also higher — most players queue Boss Rush with a full 4-6 man crew and a dedicated tank.

ModeCrew SizeStagesTime per RunTop Reward
Standard raid1-615-15 minSingle drop (Mythic fruit, sword, race essence)
Boss Rush4-61060-90 minCumulative rewards + Boss Rush exclusive

The Boss Rush mode was added in Patch 5.3 and rebalanced in Patch 5.4. It is the recommended end-game activity for top crews because the cumulative rewards out-value a single standard raid by roughly 3-4×.

Boss Rush Unlock Path

The mode unlocks when you meet all three prerequisites:

  1. Reach level 250+.
  2. Unlock Conqueror’s Haki (from the Haki guide).
  3. Clear the standard raid ladder (Law, Gear 2, Aokiji, Leopard, Mihawk, Oden).

After you meet the three prerequisites, the Boss Rush NPC spawns on Sengoku Domain dock (Sea 3). Speak to the NPC, accept the quest chain, and the mode unlocks. There is no Gem cost to queue.

Stages 1-3 are the warm-up. Kizaru, Akainu and Aokiji are the three Marine Admirals — solo-fightable in Sea 1 and re-fightable here with full Sea 3 builds. The reward is Gems + Beli + the Awakening scroll at Stage 3.

Stages 4-5 are the mid-Boss-Rush tier. Gear 4 Bounceman and Gear 4 Snakeman require a full crew and the recommended boss-killer build.

Stages 6-9 are the hard tier. Mihawk, Oden, Big Mom and Blackbeard each have a 1-5% drop rate on a Mythic-tier item. These stages are the reason players queue Boss Rush — the cumulative Mythic drop rate across four stages is significantly higher than four separate raid runs.

Stage 10 is the Multiverse Sea closer. Boss Sukuna on Jujutsu Island is the hardest boss in the game, and clearing it unlocks the Boss Rush exclusive title and the unique Boss Rush cosmetic set.

The cumulative reward is roughly 156,000 Gems + 1.555T Beli across a full clear, plus the four Mythic drop chances (Yoru, Oden Blades V1, Napoleon, Yami Yami fragments) and the Stage 10 Boss Rush exclusive reward.

For a coordinated Boss Rush run, the recommended 4-6 man crew composition:

  • Tank — Lunarian + Dark Awk + Sword Saint. Self-revive race + the highest-sustained tanking style. The Lunarian self-revive triggers first on lethal damage, so the tank can soak Stage 10 Boss Sukuna without dying.
  • DPS #1 — Dragon + Sword Saint + Skypiean. Top sustained-DPS ceiling. The Dragon AoE clears adds between stages and the Sword Saint sustained output finishes the boss.
  • DPS #2 — Leopard + Sword Saint + Cyborg. Highest burst-window ceiling. The Leopard Mythic Zoan turns the Leopard + Sword Saint + Cyborg build into the fastest burst combo in the game.
  • Support — Soul + Ultra Instinct + Skypiean. Soul scales with your own stats, and Ultra Instinct’s auto-dodge gives the support the survivability to keep the team healed.
  • Backup DPS — Mammoth + Sword Saint + Lunarian. Self-revive bruiser for Stage 10.

The full build rankings are on the Best builds hub.

Tank Priority Order

Boss Rush rewards the tank role heavily. The recommended tank priority:

  1. Lunarian + Dark Awk — Self-revive + Dark Awk damage reduction. Top tier.
  2. Cyborg + Death Step — +12% flat damage + Death Step combo ceiling.
  3. Fishman + Water Kung-Fu — +25% Water Kung-Fu bonus, but lower burst.

The race ranking is on the Races tier list.

Boss Rush Code Boosts

Two codes stack with the Boss Rush run:

  • QOLUPDATE! — 2x EXP for 1 hour + bag expansion. Recommended before the run.
  • Hi-no-Kokyu — 10x Sun breathing frags (Boss-rush boost, stacks with 2x EXP).
  • SuperWB — 2x World Boss loot (does not apply to Boss Rush but stacks with the World Boss runs on the same day).

Stack them with the 2x XP / 2x Drop events that rotate weekly. The full code list is on the Codes hub.

Boss Rush Strategy Per Stage

StageStrategy
1-3Skip mechanics, AoE down the Marine Admirals. Tank opens, DPS follows.
4-5Save cooldowns for the enrage. Burst the boss at 30% HP.
6Save Sword Saint cooldowns for Yoru’s enrage slash.
7Dodge Oden’s Togensai hitbox; burst between cooldowns.
8Spread out to avoid Big Mom’s AoE soul pull.
9Bait Blackbeard’s darkness zone; punish during cooldown.
10Full cooldown save for Sukuna’s enrage. The DPS #1 + DPS #2 + Backup DPS combo must land in the final 30-second window.

Boss Rush vs Raid Ladder Value

A full Boss Rush run yields ~156,000 Gems + 1.555T Beli + four Mythic drop chances. The equivalent grind via the standard Raid ladder takes roughly 12-15 hours of focused farming and yields the same Mythic drops at lower rates. Boss Rush is the recommended end-game activity for top crews because it concentrates the rewards into a single timed run.

Boss Rush Title and Cosmetics

Clearing Stage 10 unlocks the “Boss Rush Conqueror” title (guaranteed +10% all damage for the lifetime of the account). It also unlocks the Boss Rush cosmetic set (a Mythic-tier costume with custom particle effects).

The title is the rare cosmetic in the game — fewer than 5% of players have cleared Stage 10, so the title is a status marker for top crews.
