Re:AOPG Elbaf Update Part 1

The Elbaf Update Part 1 is now live in Re:AOPG. The patch opens Shadow Ruler’s Castle, a new end-game raid on Dawn Island in Sea 3, and adds a stack of new items, accessories and progression rewards tuned for end-game players. This page is a complete rundown of every change in the patch, the new raid mechanics, and how to chain the new rewards into your Mythical Awakening priority path.

What’s New in Elbaf Update Part 1

The Elbaf patch is the first half of a two-part Elbaf storyline. It introduces:

• Shadow Ruler’s Castle — a new Sea 3 raid on Dawn Island designed for end-game players.
• New Mythic-tier accessory — Shadow Monarch’s Crown, with a damage buff against raid bosses.
• New fighting style shard — Jotaro fragments drop from the raid boss and unlock a partial Jotaro style path.
• Rebalanced Sea 3 routes — Revolutionary Base now spawns faster (45 minutes vs 60) and drops +18% Beli.
• Two new Poneglyph spawn points on Dawn Island and Elbaf Coast.
• Elbaf Title — new cosmetic title awarded for clearing the raid 10 times.

Elbaf Update Part 1 — Shadow Ruler's Castle walkthrough

Shadow Ruler’s Castle Raid

Shadow Ruler’s Castle is the headline content of the Elbaf patch. The raid is meant for end-game players only — under-levelled crews will be one-shot by the boss’s shadow AoE.

The boss is a shadow-themed variant of the Mihawk raid with three phases:

1. Phase 1 (100%-60%) — single-target slashes; the boss charges a frontal cone attack every 8 seconds. Dodge sideways.
2. Phase 2 (60%-30%) — shadow clones spawn every 20 seconds (3 clones per wave). Cleave them with AoE (Mammoth or Magma v2 is meta).
3. Phase 3 (30%-0%) — boss gains a shadow shield that absorbs the first 5 hits; after the shield breaks the boss is vulnerable for 12 seconds. Burst with your PvP best build setup.

Elbaf Drops & Rewards

Shadow Ruler’s Castle drops every 45 minutes and the loot pool is end-game focused:

How to Reach Dawn Island

Dawn Island is the easternmost island in Sea 3. To unlock Elbaf content you need:

1. Sea 3 entry — 25,000 total stats + 2 Poneglyphs + 5 Aokiji raids + 5 Leopard dungeons + 5 Sea Beast kills. The full unlock walkthrough is on the Third Sea page.
2. Elbaf questline — talk to Andre on Dawn Island after clearing the second Sea 3 raid tier. He opens the Shadow Ruler’s Castle portal.
3. Recommended level — 1,800+ per stat. Under this you’ll struggle to survive Phase 2.

Elbaf Title & Collection

The Elbaf Title is awarded after 10 successful clears of Shadow Ruler’s Castle. It grants:

• +5% raid damage (stacks with Shadow Monarch’s Crown).
• Cosmetic shadow trail behind your character.
• Permanent Elbaf raid entry without the 30-minute cooldown.

Veterans who already have 10 clears get the title retroactively on patch day. The full title list is on the Title list page.

How to Prepare for the Raid

Best in slot for Shadow Ruler’s Castle:

• Devil Fruit — Dragon, Magma v2, Mammoth, or Light.
• Fighting style — Godhuman or Sword Saint.
• Sword — True Gryphon or Yoru.
• Race — Mink V2 or Cyborg V4.
• Title — Haki King or Slayer (raid damage variant).

Elbaf Patch vs Multiverse Sea

The Elbaf Update Part 1 runs INSIDE the Multiverse Sea era — it is NOT a new Sea. You don’t reset progress. The patch adds the Shadow Ruler’s Castle raid to the existing Sea 3 island chain. The Multiverse Sea crossover islands (Jujutsu, Goku, Bleach) remain live. The Multiverse Sea walkthrough is unchanged.

Rewards Stacking Tip

Stack Elbaf prep with Multiverse Sea prep to maximize drops:

1. Run Multiverse Sea quests on Goku Island for Awakened Saiyan XP (see Multiverse Sea quests).
2. Redeem ElbafHype! (100 Poneglyphs) and TradingRevamp! (5 Trade Tickets) codes before the raid.
3. Run Shadow Ruler’s Castle at peak hours (server pop = better drop rates).
4. Trade the Elbaf Coins at the Elbaf vendor for the Mythic reroll token.
