Re:AOPG Patch 5.4 Sword Saint Notes

Patch 5.4 — Sword Saint is the current Re:AOPG update. It landed three weeks ago and shifted the meta hard. This page lists every major change and links to the affected guides and tier lists.

Headline Changes

  • Sword-style fighters got a flat 12% damage buff. This pushed Sword Saint into S-tier on the fighting styles list.
  • Eastern Dragon cooldown cut from 60s to 38s. This pushed Eastern Dragon into S-tier on the devil fruit list.
  • Haki scaling softened. Observation, Armament, and Conqueror’s Haki now scale 8% slower per level. This hurts late-game PvP combos but helps mid-game players.
  • Foosha Village redesigned. Faster XP curve, new NPC traders, and a brand-new starter quest chain.
  • Three new Mythic-tier fruits added. They will appear in the tier list after the next round of testing.

  • Three new Mythic fruits. Currently being balanced. Will appear in the devil fruit tier list after Patch 5.5.

Removed / Retired

  • Five active codes retired. See the expired archive.
  • Two old raids removed. Blackbeard’s Haunt and Marineford Skirmish are gone.
  • One accessory set rebalanced. The Sea-stone Ring now grants +5% magic damage instead of +8% HP.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an exploit that allowed players to teleport through walls.
  • Fixed a visual glitch on the Phoenix Phoenix fruit awakening.
  • Fixed an issue where Haki would not apply to summoned pets.
  • Fixed the bug where the MULTIVERSE server would crash during peak hours.

What to Do After the Patch

The recommended post-patch priorities:

  1. Redeem the new codes from the codes hub.
  2. Re-check your build against the updated tier lists.
  3. If you main Sword Saint or Eastern Dragon, you are now in the strongest meta build in the game.
  4. If you main a Haki-focused build, expect to feel weaker until you re-optimize.
