What Is the Goku Support Style?

The Goku Support Style is a Multiverse Sea collaboration content drop — a cross-anime fighting style that channels the signature Kamehameha beam, instant transmission, and Kaioken burst loops from Dragon Ball. It is a Support style rather than a primary weapon, meaning it stacks on top of your main Fighting Style and Devil Fruit. Equipping Goku alongside Godhuman and Dragon gives you three separate cooldown trees, each triggering on different button inputs. The result is the highest sustained damage profile of any support in the game at the cost of an extremely harsh unlock grind.

Saiyan Race Requirement

The Goku Support Style is gated behind the Saiyan Race. You cannot buy it, trade for it, or roll it from a Title Spin — without the Saiyan Race selected at character creation, the NPC will not interact. If you do not have a Saiyan alt, you have two paths:

• Reroll a new character with the Saiyan Race at creation. The race locks at level 1.
• Use a Race Swap Token (rare drop from Raids). Tokens are account-bound and one-shot, so don’t burn one on Goku unless you main the alt.

How to Unlock Goku Style

Once you have a Saiyan character at level 700+, travel to Goku Island in the Multiverse Sea and find the NPC Saiyan Andre. The interaction sequence:

1. Speak to Saiyan Andre.
2. Select the dialogue: “I want to learn your style.”
3. Pay 20,000 Gems as a one-time unlock fee.
4. Complete the Spirit Bomb Trial — survive 3 waves of Shadow Saiyans on Goku Island.
5. The style auto-attaches to your character and survives across all seas.

Beam Mechanics and Damage Scaling

The Goku Support Style has three signature moves:

• Kamehameha Beam — charged beam that scales 2.4x with Haki cap and 1.8x with Melee cap. Cooldown 22 seconds. Pierces shields.
• Instant Transmission — short-range teleport that repositions behind an enemy. Cooldown 14 seconds. Refunds 50% cooldown on a clean hit.
• Kaioken Burst — 6-second window where every M1 deals +35% damage. Cooldown 60 seconds. Pairs with Awakened Saiyan’s Super Saiyan transformation for compounding bonus damage.

The damage ceiling is enormous in long duels because of the cooldown refunds. A clean duel sequence looks like: Kaioken → M1 string → Instant Transmission behind → Kamehameha → repeat.

Best Pairings

PvE Use Cases

The Goku Style solos every Sea 3 raid boss through sustained beam DPS, especially the durable Sea Kings that resist M1 pressure. The Spirit Bomb trial you complete to unlock the style is a one-time DPS check, but the same combo loops trivialise the post-game Sea 3 raid ladder. Pair Goku with Buddha in PvE for the largest hitbox possible during Kamehameha casts.

PvP Use Cases

In 1v1 duels at Arena Island, Goku Support Style is a top-three pick behind Godhuman and Dragon Claw when paired with Awakened Saiyan. The combination’s one-shot potential (Kaioken + Godhuman M1 reset + Kamehameha) deletes any non-tank bracket in a single rotation. Counter-picks are Cyborg (the recoil damage eats your burst window) and Heavy Defense builds. Skypiean flying away from the beam is a hard counter too — bring Geppo to chase.

Common Mistakes

• Trying to unlock on a non-Saiyan — the NPC silently fails the dialogue check.
• Paying the gem cost without Spirit Bomb practice — the trial has a 5-minute timer; many players fail and lose progress.
• Skipping Awakened Saiyan transformation — Goku deals base damage without the Saiyan buffs. Always layer the transformation first.
