Re:AOPG Endgame Builds for Patch 5.8

The six top builds dominating Sea 3 and Multiverse Sea right now.

Endgame Builds — Re:AOPG Patch 5.8 Meta (Aug 2026)

What “Endgame” Means in Re:AOPG Right Now

Endgame in Re:AOPG (Aug 2026) means Sea 3 cleared, Gods Valley unlocked, Mythical Awakening at rank 5+, and access to the new Godly weapon tier introduced in the Patch 5.8 Gods Valley update. Anything below that ceiling is mid-game; anything above is Whale Tier. The six builds below cover every relevant endgame activity — raid DPS, Multiverse Sea farming, bounty farming, Sword Mastery grinding, and an all-rounder for players who don’t want to swap characters between activities. Each build pairs a race with a fruit, fighting style, sword, gun, and support stack that compounds multiplicatively, not additively.

The list is current as of Aug 2026 and will need a rework after the Patch 5.9 preview drops in September. Until then, these are the six builds that hold the top damage brackets, the top PvP brackets, and the top Sword Mastery brackets. If you are just starting out, work through the getting started guide and the how to level up fast page first — these builds assume you already have at least 25,000 total stats and a Sea 3 unlock.

For the broader tier context, see the tier list hub, the best builds hub, and the races page.

Build 1 — Gods Valley Native Raid Build (New Top Meta)

This is the new top raid DPS build after Patch 5.8. Gods Valley Native is the only race in the game with combat HP regen, which lets you stand in front of a raid boss for the full 5-minute clear window without pot-chugging. Pair that with the Godly Saberu’s +10% Sword Mastery gain and the Godly Dark Fragment’s +15% ranged burst, and you have the highest sustained DPS build in the game right now.

SlotChoice
RaceGods Valley Native
FruitDough
Fighting StyleGodhuman
SwordGodly Saberu
GunGodly Dark Fragment
Support 1Seraphim
Support 2Sword Saint

Who it’s for: End-game raid grinders pushing the top 100 damage bracket on Mihawk and the Gods Valley Champion. If you already cleared Castle on the Sea and paid the 25,000 Gem unlock, this is the build you reroll into.

Why it’s strong in the current meta: Three multiplicative passives — Gods Valley Native’s combat HP regen, Godhuman’s fire M1 chain, and Seraphim’s fire aura buff — stack into roughly 3x base damage during sustained boss fights. The Godly Saberu adds +10% Sword Mastery on every swing, which compounds the fire scaling. Total damage ceiling is around 4.0M in 5 minutes (the new top bracket after the Patch 5.8 Gods Valley re-tier).

Weaknesses: Expensive to assemble. The Gods Valley Native race costs 100 Gods Valley fragments, the Godly Saberu costs 50 Mythical Fragments + 25M Beli to upgrade, and Dough is a Mythical drop that runs 3 trade units. Expect to spend 2-3 weeks of focused farming to complete this build from a mid-game state.

Best bosses/modes: Gods Valley Champion (the new 500,000 HP elemental boss), Mihawk (single-target burst showcase), and the Sky Island raid where the fire scaling is fully multiplicative. See the Mihawk strategy page for the full boss breakdown.

Build 2 — Perfect Lunarian V4 + Godly Saberu (Alternate Raid DPS)

The pre-Patch 5.8 king is now the alternate raid DPS build. Perfect Lunarian V4 lost the top spot when Gods Valley Native launched its combat HP regen, but the fire aura + Godhuman + Seraphim stack is still extremely strong and runs a smoother clear window on most raid bosses. If you do not have the 100 Gods Valley fragments yet, this is the build you push in the meantime.

SlotChoice
RacePerfect Lunarian V4
FruitDough
Fighting StyleGodhuman
SwordGodly Saberu
GunGodly Dark Fragment
Support 1Seraphim
Support 2Sword Saint

Who it’s for: Mid-to-end-game raid players who already have Perfect Lunarian V4 unlocked and want the highest fire DPS without farming the Gods Valley fragments.

Why it’s strong: Identical stacking logic as Build 1 — fire aura + Godhuman fire M1 + Seraphim fire aura — but the out-of-combat HP regen is the only difference. In a clean 5-minute clear with no chip damage, the Perfect Lunarian build matches the Gods Valley Native build. It only falls behind when you take heavy boss damage mid-fight.

Weaknesses: Falls behind on HP-sustain raid bosses like Gods Valley Champion where you need to tank three AoE phases. The out-of-combat HP regen doesn’t help during the fight — only between phases. Also weaker in longer 8-10 minute boss rush brackets.

Best bosses/modes: Sky Island raid (the fire scaling is multiplicative), Boss Hybrid 4th in Sea 3, and the Wano endgame chain. The full list of Mythical fruit drops is on the Devil Fruits tier list.

Build 3 — Awakened Saiyan + Primal Saiyan Goku Support (Multiverse Sea)

The Multiverse Sea apex build. Awakened Saiyan’s power-up-on-damage passive stacks with the Goku support’s Mythical Awakening buff to push the sustained damage ceiling past every other build in Multiverse Sea content. Dragon’s AoE clears adds between Saiyan power-up stacks, which means the damage curve keeps climbing the longer the fight goes.

SlotChoice
RaceAwakened Saiyan
FruitDragon
Fighting StyleGodhuman
SwordGodly Saberu
GunGodly Dark Fragment
Support 1Primal Saiyan Goku
Support 2Seraphim

Who it’s for: End-game players farming Multiverse Sea raids and the new crossover content. If you have Multiverse Sea unlocked and Goku support from the crossover event, this is your go-to build.

Why it’s strong: Awakened Saiyan’s power-up-on-damage passive is multiplicative, and Goku support’s Mythical Awakening buff stacks on top. Dragon’s AoE clears the adds that would normally interrupt the power-up ramp, which means by the 4-minute mark you are doing 2x the damage of any non-Saiyan build. The full Saiyan lore is on the multiverse races page.

Weaknesses: Slow ramp — the build is weakest in the first 90 seconds of a fight. If the boss has a one-shot phase at minute 1, you lose. Also expensive: Awakened Saiyan is a Mythical race unlock, Goku support is a crossover drop, and Dragon is a Mythical Zoan that runs 1 trade unit on the trading values page.

Best bosses/modes: Multiverse Sea crossover raids, the Goku event raid, and any long-form boss rush where the power-up ramp pays off. See the best builds hub for the full Multiverse Sea context.

Build 4 — Mink + Soru + Sword Saint + Light (PvP Bounty Farming)

The PvP bounty farming build. Mink’s +15% movement speed stacks with Soru’s dash chain to give you the fastest reposition speed in the game, and Light’s burst potential lets you 3-shot most PvP targets when you land the opener. The build is built around picking fights, farming the bounty, and disengaging before the counter-attack lands.

SlotChoice
RaceMink V4
FruitLight
Fighting StyleRokushiki Soru
SwordSaberu
GunSlingshot (budget) or Dark Fragment
Support 1Sword Saint
Support 2Light (self-buff)

Who it’s for: Bounty farmers grinding the PvP bracket for Beli and Dragon drops. If you spend more than an hour a day in PvP, this build pays for itself in a week.

Why it’s strong: The combination of Mink + Soru’s movement speed and Light’s burst window means you control engagement range on every fight. You land the Light opener, dash-cancel with Soru, land the Saberu combo, and disengage before your opponent’s cooldowns reset. The bounty gain per hour is roughly 3x a stationary build.

Weaknesses: Loses hard to Dark because Dark nullifies Light’s Logia intangibility. Also fragile — the build has no defensive sustain, so a single missed disengage loses the fight. Don’t pick this into a Dark-heavy meta. The race matchup data is on the races page.

Best bosses/modes: Pure PvP bounty farming in Sea 2 and Sea 3 servers. Skip the raid bosses — the build is not optimized for sustained PvE damage. The full bounty farming route is on the trading values page (bounty converts to trade value at the PvP NPC).

Build 5 — Cyborg + Godhuman + CDK (All-Rounder)

The all-rounder build. Cyborg’s +12% flat damage bonus applies to every fighting style, so you can swap between Godhuman for raids, Death Step for PvP, and Dragon Claw for farming without losing the damage buff. The Cursed Dual Katana (CDK) sits in the sword slot because it scales with the highest number of build paths.

SlotChoice
RaceCyborg V4
FruitDough (raid) or Magma (farm)
Fighting StyleGodhuman
SwordCursed Dual Katana (CDK)
GunDark Fragment
Support 1Sword Saint
Support 2Seraphim

Who it’s for: Players who don’t want to swap characters between raid, PvP, and farming. If you log in for 30 minutes a day and want one build that does everything at A-tier, this is the pick.

Why it’s strong: Cyborg’s +12% flat damage is universal — it works with every fighting style in the game. The CDK’s +15% Sword Mastery gain stacks with Godhuman’s fire scaling, and Dark Fragment covers the ranged gap. You lose roughly 15% peak DPS versus the S-tier race-locked builds, but you gain the ability to swap styles without rerolling accessories. The full CDK unlock is on the best sword builds page.

Weaknesses: Never the top DPS in any bracket — Cyborg’s universal scaling tops out at A-tier. If you are pushing the leaderboard, you need a race-locked build. The Cyborg build is for players who value flexibility over peak damage.

Best bosses/modes: Boss Hybrid 4th (the multi-phase fight that requires style swaps), Sky Island raid (where the universal scaling matters less than the clear time), and Sea 2/Sea 3 farming routes. The full Cyborg unlock path is on the races page.

Build 6 — Seraphim Race + Sword Saint + True Gryphon (Sword Mastery Farming)

The Sword Mastery farming build. Seraphim’s +20% Sword Mastery gain passive stacks with Sword Saint’s +150% sword DPS multiplier to push Sword Mastery XP gains past every other build in the game. True Gryphon’s +15% Sword Mastery gain passive adds a third multiplier, which means you hit the Sword Mastery 500 cap roughly 4x faster than any non-Sword Saint build.

SlotChoice

Fighting StyleSword Saint
SwordTrue Gryphon (Mythical) or Godly True Gryphon
GunSlingshot (no combat needed)
Support 1Sword Saint (self-buff stacking)
Support 2Seraphim (self-buff stacking)

Who it’s for: Players grinding Sword Mastery 500 to unlock the Mythical Awakening sword perks. If you need Sword Mastery levels fast, this is the only build that matters.

Why it’s strong: Triple Sword Mastery stack — Seraphim’s +20%, Sword Saint’s +150%, True Gryphon’s +15%. Total Sword Mastery XP gain is roughly 4x a base build. You hit Sword Mastery 500 in 2-3 hours of focused grinding instead of 8-10 hours.

Weaknesses: Bad in PvP and bad in raids. The build is single-purpose: Sword Mastery farming only. Do not bring this into a raid or PvP bracket — you’ll get carried by anyone running a meta build.

Best bosses/modes: Any mob-dense farming zone with respawning enemies. Castle on the Sea mob waves, Marineford grind route, and the Sea Beast spawn every 20 minutes. The full grind route is on the how to level up fast page.

Stat Priority Per Build

The order you should farm stats in for each build:

Build 1 (Gods Valley Native Raid): Race (Gods Valley Native) → Fruit (Dough) → Style (Godhuman) → Sword (Godly Saberu) → Gun (Godly Dark Fragment) → Support (Seraphim + Sword Saint).

Build 2 (Perfect Lunarian V4): Race (Perfect Lunarian V4) → Fruit (Dough) → Style (Godhuman) → Sword (Godly Saberu) → Gun (Godly Dark Fragment) → Support (Seraphim + Sword Saint).

Build 3 (Awakened Saiyan Multiverse): Race (Awakened Saiyan) → Fruit (Dragon) → Style (Godhuman) → Support (Goku) → Sword (Godly Saberu) → Gun (Godly Dark Fragment).

Build 4 (Mink Bounty Farm): Race (Mink V4) → Style (Rokushiki Soru) → Fruit (Light) → Support (Sword Saint) → Sword (Saberu) → Gun (Slingshot).

Build 5 (Cyborg All-Rounder): Race (Cyborg V4) → Style (Godhuman) → Sword (CDK) → Support (Sword Saint) → Fruit (Dough or Magma) → Gun (Dark Fragment).

Build 6 (Seraphim Sword Mastery): Race (Seraphim) → Style (Sword Saint) → Sword (True Gryphon) → Support (Sword Saint) → Fruit (Dough or Control) → Gun (Slingshot).

The rule of thumb across all six builds: race first, style second, sword/fruit third, support fourth, gun last. Guns are the lowest-scaling slot in the current meta, so don’t over-invest in your gun selection.

How to Gear Any Endgame Build

The fastest path to a completed endgame build, regardless of which of the six you pick:

  1. Clear Sea 3 first. The Sea 3 unlock (25,000 total stats + 2 Poneglyphs + 5 Aokiji Raids + 5 Leopard Dungeons + 5 Sea Beast kills) gates every Mythical drop in the game. The full walkthrough is on the getting started guide.

  2. Unlock the race. Most endgame races cost 100+ race fragments and require a quest chain. Race unlocks are on the races page and the multiverse races page.

  3. Train the fighting style. Fighting style unlocks range from a single quest (Godhuman at Sky Island Upper Yard) to a Mythical drop (Ultra Instinct at the Goku crossover raid).

  4. Farm the Devil Fruit. Mythical fruits run 1-3 trade units on the trading values page. Dough and Dragon are the top raid picks.

  5. Chase the sword. Godly Saberu is the top raid sword after Patch 5.8. The full sword rankings are on the sword tier list.

  6. Stack the supports. Most raid support builds want Seraphim + Sword Saint. The full support rankings are on the support builds page.

  7. Push the Mythical Awakening. Mythical Awakening rank 5+ is required for the Godly weapon upgrade. The full Mythical Awakening walkthrough is on the best sword builds page.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Picking a build before unlocking the race. Race shapes the entire damage formula. Don’t grind a fruit or style that doesn’t pair with your chosen race. The race matchup data is on the races page.
  • Skipping Gods Valley. The Patch 5.8 region gates the new raid bosses, the new race, and the Godly weapons. Don’t sleep on the unlock. The full overview is on the Patch 5.8 Gods Valley page.
  • Running non-meta builds into the top 100 damage bracket. The bracket resets every patch. If you want the title, you need the meta build for that patch. The top damage brackets are on the Mihawk strategy page.
  • Burning Mythical Fragments on non-Godly upgrades. The Godly upgrade is the only Mythical Fragment sink worth running. Everything else is filler. The full Mythical weapon rankings are on the sword tier list.
  • Holding pre-Patch 5.8 builds. The Patch 5.8 weapon rebalance invalidated most older raid builds. The pre-Patch 5.8 meta is dead. The full rebalance list is on the Patch 5.8 Gods Valley page.
  • Ignoring the support stack. Most players under-invest in their support pairings. The support is often a 30-40% damage bump for free. The full support rankings are on the support builds page.

Patch 5.9 Preview — What’s Changing

The Patch 5.9 preview is set to land in September 2026 and will likely introduce a new Mythical-tier weapon, a new race-fragment track, and a Multiverse Sea expansion. Expect at least one of these six builds to fall out of the meta after Patch 5.9 lands. Bookmark the Patch 5.9 preview page and revisit this list once the patch drops.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Re:AOPG questions.

What is the top endgame build in Re:AOPG right now?

Gods Valley Native + Dough + Godhuman + Godly Saberu + Godly Dark Fragment + Seraphim support + Sword Saint support. It runs a triple-stack of fire damage and combat HP regen that hits roughly 4.0M DPS in a 5-minute raid clear. The full overview is on the [Patch 5.8 Gods Valley](/updates/patch-5-8-gods-valley/) page.

Is Perfect Lunarian V4 still meta after Patch 5.8?

Yes — Perfect Lunarian V4 is the alternate raid DPS build. It falls behind Gods Valley Native only on HP-sustain raid bosses where combat HP regen matters. The fire stacking logic is identical to the top build. The full comparison is on the [best builds hub](/tier-list/builds/).

What is the best build for Multiverse Sea right now?

Awakened Saiyan + Dragon + Godhuman + Primal Saiyan Goku support + Seraphim support. The Awakened Saiyan power-up-on-damage passive stacks with Goku support to push the sustained damage ceiling past every other Multiverse Sea build. The race unlock is on the [multiverse races](/players/multiverse-races/) page.

What is the best build for PvP bounty farming?

Mink V4 + Light + Rokushiki Soru + Saberu + Sword Saint support. Mink's +15% movement speed stacks with Soru's dash chain to give you the fastest reposition speed in the game. The build is single-purpose — don't bring it into a raid. The full PvP context is on the [races page](/players/races/).

What is the best all-rounder build?

Cyborg V4 + Dough or Magma + Godhuman + CDK + Dark Fragment + Sword Saint + Seraphim. Cyborg's +12% flat damage bonus applies to every fighting style, so you can swap styles without losing damage. Peak DPS is roughly 15% lower than the S-tier race-locked builds but the flexibility is worth it for mixed-activity players. The CDK unlock is on the [best sword builds](/tier-list/best-sword-builds/) page.

What is the fastest Sword Mastery farming build?

Seraphim + Sword Saint + True Gryphon + Dough or Control. The triple-stack of Sword Mastery XP gain (Seraphim +20%, Sword Saint +150%, True Gryphon +15%) hits roughly 4x base XP. You cap Sword Mastery 500 in 2-3 hours of focused grinding. The grind route is on the [how to level up fast](/guides/how-to-level-up-fast/) page.

What changes does Patch 5.9 bring?

Patch 5.9 is expected to add a new Mythical-tier weapon, a new race-fragment track, and a Multiverse Sea expansion. At least one of the six endgame builds on this list will likely fall out of the meta after Patch 5.9. The full preview is on the [Patch 5.9 preview](/updates/patch-5-9-preview/) page.
