Re:AOPG Controls and HUD
PC keybinds, mobile buttons, and every menu icon from codes to trading.
New Re:AOPG players lose their first ten minutes hunting the codes button. The rebirth uses the same HUD language as AOPG: a Twitter-style bird for codes, M for the full menu, and a cluster of icons for stats, ships, fruits, crews, and trades. This page is the control sheet. Pair it with getting started once you can actually open the UI.
PC Keyboard Basics
Movement is standard Roblox WASD plus jump. The combat and menu keys that matter on PC:
| Action | Input |
|---|---|
| Move | WASD |
| Jump / Geppo double jump | Space |
| Lock in the air while stamina regenerates | Hold Q (official Trello starter tip) |
| Dash | Q (tap, when not locking) |
| Open main menu | M or the Menu button, bottom-left |
| Light attack | Left click |
| Block | F on many style kits |
| Interact with NPCs, chests, fruit | Click the prompt / E depending on client |
| Codes | Bird icon on the left HUD, or bird tab inside Menu |
Geppo (the extra jump) is how you climb Random Wilderness to Rayleigh without a fruit. If stamina dumps mid-climb, hold Q to freeze in the air, wait for the bar, then keep spacing. That trick is written on the official Trello starter card, not invented here.
Menu Icons (What Each One Does)
The official starter guide labels the HUD like this:
- Ship icon — buy and spawn boats. Purchases do not save; boats are cheap, so buy another when you dock.
- Three rising bars — stats. All seven categories count toward the 5,000 total that gates Second Sea.
- Fruit icon — show or hide your current Devil Fruit moves.
- Three player heads — pirate crew creation (20,000,000 Beli).
- Beli icon — Robux shop / game passes. See game passes before you spend.
- Bird — codes. This is the icon people search for.
- Fruit with arrows — player trading after the Trading Revamp. You still need tickets; see the value list.
If the bird is missing, you are often in a stale server or a clone. Relaunch from the official Roblox page.
How to Redeem Codes on Each Device
PC: load in, click the bird on the left (or M → bird). Paste the code exactly. Some clients also ask for a YouTube Channel ID after you subscribe to Theboss (Brandon) with public subscriptions.
Mobile: the bird sits in the top-left of the HUD. Tap once, paste, confirm. Rotate to landscape if the icon sits under the Roblox chat bar.
Console: D-pad to the social / codes control, confirm with A. Typing codes is painful — copy from the working codes list on a phone if you can.
Full troubleshooting lives on how to redeem. Newest Re:AOPG strings include 2kLikes, 1kActive, ReMultiverseSea, NewInventory, ReSea2, ReAOPG, ReAOPG2, and ReAOPG3. The Roblox description says the next drop is at 5k likes.
Combat Habits That Are Really Controls
- Quest Dummy NPCs — click them, pick a quest, abandon if it is too hard. Extra quest slots come from Xury Senpai on Starter Island (500k Beli per scroll).
- Spawn points — white-aura NPCs set your spawn. Do this in Shells Town before you sail off.
- Island Tracker — 50k Beli from the Traveling Merchant. Equip it; the glow points at the selected island.
- Chests — walk up and click. Up to 5,000 Beli and a 0.5% fruit chance.
None of those are keybinds, but they are the “I cannot progress” tickets that look like a controls problem.
Mobile and Controller Notes
Touch clients map dash, jump, and M1 to on-screen buttons. The codes bird is still a small icon — zoom the HUD in settings if your studio UI scale is tiny. Controller players should bind a spare button to menu so they are not digging through Roblox’s own overlay to hit M.
Private servers use the same HUD. Codes still redeem there if you launched the official experience. Details are on the private server guide.
