Re:AOPG Black Leg Fighting Style
Sanji’s Starter Island style — cheap damage so you are not fruit-locked before Dark V2.
Black Leg is the fighting style August 2026 beginner routes still buy on Starter Island before they dump Gems into fruit luck. It is not the endgame ceiling — Wukong, Reincarnated Slime, and World Above Heaven sit higher on later tier lists — but it is the style that lets you kill Bandits and Ice Island packs while you still have a Common fruit.
The trainer is the Sanji / Black Leg NPC near the stone arch on Starter Island (same island as Quest Dummy 1 and the Bandit Leader). If a video tells you to run to Baratie in Foosha, you are on the wrong client. Spawn rules: getting started.
What Black Leg Is For
Devil Fruit is not always online in the first hour. Tree RNG can hand you Chop. The dealer is 25 million Beli. Black Leg is a second damage channel that does not care what you ate. Current progression writeups put it in this stack, in order:
- Codes + group reward — codes.
- Quest slots (Xury Senpai, toward five).
- Ignous Helmet + Stone Gauntlets in the Gem Shop.
- Black Leg 500,000 Beli, then the 20 million upgrade when you can.
- Island Tracker at 50,000 Beli.
- Dark Fruit.
Skip Black Leg and you will fruit-check every pack. Buy it and the fruit can be late.

The upgrade is the real purchase. 500k is a tutorial. 20 million is a Drum Island / code Beli problem, not a Sea 3 problem. Farm Drum Island NPCs after you have Dark or a strong AoE fruit; community notes still quote huge Beli ticks there during 2× Beli events. Beli routes: best Beli farming.

How to Buy It Without Getting Lost
- Finish Quest Dummy 1 / Bandits so you can walk the island safely.
- Find the stone arch / Sanji trainer. If the Island Tracker is already bought, you can still walk — the trainer is local.
- Buy the 500,000 version and equip it. Confirm it is on your fighting-style slot, not buried under a sword M1.
- Come back for the 20 million upgrade after codes + Drum Island (or after Sea 2 Solo Prison if you rushed the sea gate).
- Do not sell Black Leg the minute you unlock Sword Saint videos. Sword Saint is a late Mythic-style project. Black Leg is the ladder.
Controls if you cannot find the menu: controls. Loadouts let you keep Black Leg on a “islands” preset and Wukong on a “raid” preset — loadouts.
When to Replace Black Leg
Replace it when a style’s buffs beat a 20% global on your actual weapon:
- Wukong — Y-move scroll setups around 2.63× in current community notes. Guide: Wukong style.

- Zongetsu / sword titles — sword mains eventually leave kick styles. Best sword builds.
Until those are online, Black Leg plus Dark V2 is a complete First Sea and early Sea 2 kit. You do not need Sukuna fingers to leave Starter Island.
Black Leg and Stats
Black Leg does not replace the 5,000-stat Sea 2 math. Melee investment still counts toward the total. - Looking for Black Leg in Foosha or Baratie on a MULTIVERSE spawn.
- Skipping the 20 million upgrade forever because “style doesn’t matter.”
- Buying race rerolls before the Black Leg upgrade.
- Unequipping Black Leg to M1 sword on Ice Island and wondering why packs live.
- Treating Black Leg as a PvP endgame style. It is a progression tax you are happy to pay.
