Re:AOPG Hybrid Race Guide

Hybrid is the Chainsaw Man crossover race in Re:AOPG / AOPG Multiverse. It does not appear as a random spawn race when you create a character. You pull it from race rerolls (Gems or Robux), then use it as the hard gate for the Chainsaw Man support style on Chainsaw Domain in Multiverse Sea. What Hybrid Does

Community race writeups and the official crossover notes agree on the role:

• Increased health and health regeneration — Hybrid leans tanky compared with pure DPS races.
• Required for Chainsaw Man support style — without Hybrid, the Chainsaw Xury unlock path will not complete.
• Cannot spawn as Hybrid — new accounts never start Hybrid; storage / reroll only.

Hybrid Form and Full Devil Form buffs on the Chainsaw kit (roughly ×1.5 damage/speed in Hybrid Form and ×2 in Full Devil Form on the style card) only matter after you finish the style unlock. The race alone does not give those transformations.

How to Get Hybrid

1. Farm Gems from codes (1kActive, ReMultiverseSea, Raidcounter) — working codes.
2. Open the Gem Shop race spin (historically 500 Gems per spin, or Robux race reroll).
3. Keep spinning until Hybrid appears. You cannot select it at character creation.
4. Store the race if you use race storage slots so you can swap back to Mink for PvP days.

If you only care about First–Third Sea progression, Hybrid is optional. If you are chasing Multiverse showcase styles, Hybrid is mandatory for Chainsaw and high value for that island’s bosses.

Builds That Pair Well

• Chainsaw Man support + Hybrid — the intended combo. Unlock on Chainsaw Domain by defeating Chainsaw Xury.
• Hybrid + AoE Logia — Magma / Light for Infinite Tower sustain.
• Hybrid + Sword Saint — only if you already own strong Observation; Hybrid’s regen helps longer Mihawk pulls — Mihawk raid.
• Avoid wasting Hybrid on a throwaway Common fruit. Rank first: devil fruit tier list.

Gem Budget Advice

A realistic Hybrid chase after codes:

1. Redeem Gem-heavy codes first.
2. Buy inventory space so fruit storage does not block spins — inventory expansion.
3. Cap a spin budget (for example 5–10k Gems) before stopping for Sea progression.
4. Resume after Sea 3 if Multiverse is still locked.

Race V4 is a different system (Poneglyphs, essences). Hybrid does not replace V4 planning — race V4 guide.

• Expecting Hybrid on first character create.
