Re:AOPG Unique Fruit Scrolls

Merchant spins cannot skip dungeon and raid scrolls. Gear 5, Quake V2, Light V2 and Phoenix V2 each have their own drop.

Re:AOPG Unique Fruit Scrolls: Gear 5, Quake V2, Light V2

Not every Re:AOPG fruit comes from the Logue Town dealer. The 25 million Beli / 699 Robux spin is the main random pool, but Unique and many V2 / Gear forms require a dungeon, a raid boss, or a named scroll. Spamming the merchant will never drop Gear 5’s Permission Scroll. This page is the scroll and raid table players search after they already know how to get a Devil Fruit.

Merchant locations stay the same across seas: Logue Town (Sea 1), Dawn Island V2 (Sea 2), Dawn Island V3 (Sea 3). Unique hunts do not. Bring an Island Tracker and do not mix this client with Foosha-only YouTube.

Merchant Spins vs Scroll Fruits

MethodWhat it can giveWhat it cannot skip
Fruit Dealer spinRandom fruit from the spin tableGear 5, raid-locked V2 scrolls
Tree spawnRandom world fruitNamed Permission / Light / Quake scrolls
Gem MerchantMove-by-move awaken for fruits that use GemsScrolls that only drop from bosses
Raid / dungeon scrollThe unique upgradePaying Robux to skip the raid (unless a bundle exists)

If a guide says “just roll 699 Robux until Gear 5,” it is wrong for this obtainment path. Gear 5 is a Permission Scroll plus earlier Gear forms.

Unique / Awakened Fruit Table

Community and public Re:AOPG fruit guides (August 2026) agree on these named paths. Recheck the official Trello after a patch — drop rates move.

Gear 5 Permission Scroll — Practical Notes

Gear 5 is the search term that fills Discord. The failure mode is always the same: people run Aokiji Raid on a character that never finished Gear 2 and Gear 4 Bounceman, then call the scroll “bugged.” The scroll is not a Fruit Dealer item. It drops from the Sea 2 Aokiji Raid on Teleport Island. Equip it and click empty space / the ground — the same “use scroll in world” pattern as Quake V2 and Light V2.

If you are still in First Sea, finish Law Raid, 5,000 stats, and Old Xury before you farm a Sea 2 raid. Sea 2 walkthrough: Second Sea complete guide.

Quake V2 and Maze Raid

Quake V2 is the Whitebeard-style upgrade people confuse with “just awaken at the Gem Merchant.” On this path the Maze Raid on Teleport Island (Sea 1) drops the Quake Scroll. You can farm it before Sea 2. Bring AoE — Dark Fruit or Magma — so waves do not stall.

Light V2 and Phoenix V2

Kizaru in Photon Zone is a Sea 2 admiral-linked hunt. The Light Scroll is a rare drop; treat it like a raid farm, not a one-and-done NPC. Marco on Phoenix Nest (Sea 1) drops the Phoenix Scroll for Phoenix V2. Phoenix is also a Mythical-style project on the awakening order page — do not mix “Phoenix V2 scroll” with “Mythical stone awaken” unless Trello lists both.

Gem Merchant Awakens (No Scroll)

Dark, Magma, Ice, Lightning, Smoke, Sand, Gravity and several others still buy V2 moves with Gems. Dark’s full kit is about 18,000 Gems with F first for grind — Dark Fruit. That is a different bucket from Gear 5. If you spend every Gem on race rerolls, you delay both.

Vampire-style unique fruits (showcase video on this page) follow the same rule as Gear 5: named obtainment, not infinite dealer luck. Always read the Trello card for that fruit before you burn Beli.

Loadouts After You Unlock a Scroll

Patch 5.4 Loadouts let you save fruit + style + sword + gun + race + gear. Put the scroll fruit on a raid loadout and keep Dark on a grind loadout. Guide: loadouts. Redeem LOADOUTS! if it is still on your working codes list.

Common Mistakes

  • Rolling the dealer for Gear 5.
  • Running Aokiji Raid before Gear 2 and Gear 4 Bounceman.
  • Mixing Maze Raid (Sea 1 Quake) with Aokiji Raid (Sea 2 Gear 5).
  • Using a scroll from inventory without the “click the world” step.
  • Following original AOPG videos that park every raid on Marineford.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Re:AOPG questions.

Can I get Gear 5 from the Fruit Merchant?

No. Gear 5 uses a Permission Scroll from the Sea 2 Aokiji Raid on Teleport Island. You also need Gear 2 and Gear 4 Bounceman. See the table on this page and [Gear 5 Luffy](/guides/gear-5-luffy-guide/).

Where do I get Quake V2?

Maze Raid on Teleport Island in Sea 1 drops the Quake Scroll. Equip it and click in the world. It is not a Gem Merchant purchase.

Where is the Light Scroll?

Photon Zone in Sea 2, from Kizaru, as a Light Scroll drop. Equip and click. Sea 2 unlock: [Second Sea guide](/guides/second-sea-complete-guide/).

Do all V2 fruits need scrolls?

No. Many Logias awaken at the Gem Merchant with Gems (Dark is the beginner example). Scroll fruits are the unique / raid-locked upgrades listed in the table.

Where is the Fruit Merchant in each sea?

Logue Town (Sea 1), Dawn Island V2 (Sea 2), Dawn Island V3 (Sea 3). Unique scrolls still come from their raids, not from that NPC.
