Upcoming Re:AOPG Releases
September 2026 roadmap — Patch 5.9, Crew Battles, new islands, and the Multiverse meta shift.
What Is on the Horizon for Re:AOPG
September 2026 is a major content window for Re:AOPG. Patch 5.9 is the scheduled drop, bringing a new raid boss, two Mythical Awakening pools, a large-scale crew PvP mode, and four new Multiverse Sea islands. This page walks through every confirmed and expected release so you know what to grind toward.
The current live patch is the Multiverse Sea update (August 2026). The Patch 5.9 Preview page has the full feature rundown. This page focuses on the player-facing impact: what changes, what to prepare, and what to prioritise in your next session.
Patch 5.9 — What Changes on Patch Day
Patch 5.9 is the next major Re:AOPG update, targeting September 15, 2026. The headline additions are:
1. New Raid Boss: Rocks The Rocks Raid Boss is the centerpiece of Patch 5.9. Located in the God Valley arena, it has 5 million HP and requires a coordinated 5-player raid. The drop table includes Mythical Fragments at 2% per clear, Dark Keys at 1%, and the Rocks-exclusive sword at 0.5%. You need all 7 prior Multiverse Sea raid bosses defeated to unlock it.
This is the hardest content in the game so far. Start assembling your raid crew now — a full Mythical-party clear takes 12–18 minutes with good coordination.
2. Crew Battles — New Large-Scale PvP Crew Battles is a 6v6 crew-vs-crew PvP mode that runs every Saturday at 6 PM UTC. The rewards are 10,000 Beli per win plus 50 Bounty per kill. This is the first proper crew-vs-crew content in Re:AOPG and replaces Crew Wars as the meta crew activity.
Before Patch 5.9 drops, make sure your crew is at maximum member cap and has cleared all crew upgrade trees. Crew Battles rewards scale with crew level.
3. Two New Mythical Awakening Pools Patch 5.9 expands the Mythical Awakening system from 5 to 7 tracks. The two new pools are:
- Gravity Mythical Awakening — costs 100 Gravity Fragments. Gives +40% knockback resistance and +25% damage. Best for tanky raid DPS.
- Quake Mythical Awakening — costs 100 Quake Fragments. Gives +30% AoE damage and +25% damage. Best for AoE raid farming.
Mythical Awakening applies to weapons and accessories at the Mythical Forge NPC on Castle on the Sea. If you have been stockpiling fragments, Patch 5.9 is the moment to spend them.
4. Four New Multiverse Sea Islands Patch 5.9 adds four themed crossover islands to the Multiverse Sea:
- Valhalla Island — Berserk final arc crossover. 600 Gems per hour plus Griffith essence at 0.5% drop rate.
- Tokyo Ghoul Island — Tokyo Ghoul crossover. 700 Gems per hour plus Kagune essence at 1% drop rate.
- Soul Society East — Bleach final arc crossover. 800 Gems per hour plus Hollow essence at 0.8% drop rate.
- Wano Final — One Piece final arc crossover. 900 Gems per hour plus Wano Final essence at 0.5% drop rate.
These islands are the new best Gem farming destinations. The higher the Gem rate, the faster you can refresh for Mythical fruit rolls.
5. New Fighting Style: Berserker Armor The Berserker Armor fighting style joins the Multiverse Sea roster. It costs 500 Berserk Essence plus 50,000 Gems. The effect is +60% damage and +100% damage taken — the highest risk, highest reward style in the game. It is best used in burst raid DPS windows where your team can cover your defense.
Do not sell any Berserk Essence you have stockpiled. Patch 5.9 makes it the crafting currency for a new style.
6. Mythical Awakening Pity System Patch 5.9 introduces a pity counter for Mythical Awakening drops. Every raid kill without a Mythical drop increments the counter. At 200 consecutive raid kills without a Mythical, you are guaranteed one on your next kill. This fundamentally changes the Mythical grind from pure RNG to a predictable grind.
Keep killing raids. The pity counter is your friend.
Quality-of-Life Changes in Patch 5.9
Patch 5.9 also ships several quality-of-life improvements:
- Trading Tickets become stackable — up to 999 per stack, ending the inventory clutter.
- Base inventory expands from 50 to 75 slots — more room for Mythical fragments, raid tokens, and essence materials.
- Title inventory shows the pity counter — track your Mythical Awakening pity progress in-game.
- Mythical Fragment bank capacity raises from 200 to 500 — stockpile more fragments between grinds.
Six confirmed bug fixes address the Trade Ticket duplication exploit, the Mihawk raid crash on private servers, the Saiyan Spirit stack overflow, Multiverse Sea portal lag, the title spin lock on alt-tab, and the crew buff desync after crew cap increase.
How to Prepare for Patch 5.9
Five concrete steps to take before September 15:
- Stockpile Mythical Fragments — Patch 5.9 adds two new Mythical Awakening pools. Bank Fragments now.
- Complete the Multiverse Sea story — the Rocks Raid Boss requires all 7 prior Multiverse Sea bosses defeated.
- Max your crew level — Crew Battles rewards scale with crew level. Do not enter patch day under-leveled.
- Save Trade Tickets — 500 or more. Patch 5.9 changes the Ticket economy.
- Clear your inventory — the patch increases capacity. Remove old items to maximise the new slots.
Beyond Patch 5.9 — Q4 2026 and Early 2027
The roadmap does not stop at Patch 5.9:
Patch 5.10 — Halloween Event (October 2026) The Halloween event brings a seasonal raid boss (the Pumpkin Knight, 3.5M HP, 4-player), a limited-time Pumpkin Devil Fruit at Mythical tier, and two seasonal islands. The Halloween codes (HAPPYHAUNT, PUMPKIN2026, SPOOKY) drop during October and expire by early November.
Patch 5.11 — Christmas Update (December 2026) The Christmas patch adds the Frost Saberu Mythic sword, Mythical Awakening Rank 6, and a Multiverse Sea Christmas expansion. The Saurian race is teased on the Trello board for this patch.
Patch 5.12 — Q1 2027 (January 2027) Predicted features include the Saurian race (confirmed on Trello), the Godly Dark Fragment Mythic gun (companion to the Godly Saberu sword), and a Trading Revamp that converts Trade Tickets to a character-bound stack system.
The full long-range roadmap is on the Event Calendar and Upcoming Updates pages.
